Forever New is a pure, effective and biodegradable fabric wash.  This special blend is formulated to gently clean, brighten and promote longer life in all fine washables while preserving and maintaining elasticity.  A natural base of citrus and sodas cleans and rinses completely from the fabric leaving no soap residues to damage thread fibers.  Forever New is high-efficiency wash designed for front loaders and HE compatible washers.  

Forever New® Fabric Care Wash is a pure, organic fabric wash formulated to gently clean, brighten and promote longer life for all fine washables. A natural base of multiple sodas and citrus, our special formulation is highly effective and uniquely formulated for all types of washable fabrics.  Forever New products contain no bleach, optical brighteners, and lanolin or petroleum products.  This concentrated blend gently lifts stains and soils while rinsing completely from the fabric leaving no soap residues to damage thread fibers. Forever New preserves fiber-flex and elasticity, allowing all fine garments to look new longer.

To hand wash, dissolve contents in two quarts (2 liters) of cold/cool water. Gently agitate and soak for five minutes. Rinse thoroughly, squeeze excess water out and lay flat to dry. Avoid direct heat or dryer.

Common Questions About Forever New Laundry Soap

How much should I use?

This is an often asked question. There are a number of variables as; how much water you are using, the Ph of the water and how dirty are your clothes. The amount listed on our label is a suggested amount. If you are getting a lot of bubbles in your wash and rinse water, you are probably using too much. Yes, you need bubbles, but this is a low sudsing product. You need to use common sense to determine what is best for your circumstance.

Can Forever New be used in the new HE machines?

Yes, only use half the amount you would in a regular washer. Forever New is highly concentrated and low sudsing. If you find you are getting a lot of suds in your rinse water, you might want to add less Forever New. (Recently many soap companies have come out with highly concentrated formulas, we have always had this.)

Hand Washing and Machine Washing

To preserve your fine garments, Forever New® recommends hand washing in a basin of cool water with a tablespoon of Forever New®, Ovación® or Variance®. Several items can be washed at the same time by starting with light colors to darks. Rinse garments thoroughly in clean water and gently squeeze excess water out. Rolling the garments in a clean dry towel will also remove residual moisture. Do not twist or wring garments. Lay flat to dry.

For fine fabrics and delicate garments, avoid the dryer. Heat will fade dark colors and deteriorate stretch fibers and elasticity of garments. Also avoid drying colors in direct sunlight.

We recommend testing for colorfastness by applying Forever New® on an inside seam of the garment with a clean cloth. The color or dyes should not bleed onto the cloth.

For machine washing delicates, lingerie, hosiery and sweaters, placing them in a mesh or lace washing bag on the delicate / gentle cycle will greatly extend the life of your garments.

HE - High Efficiency Washers - Front Loading and Top Loading Forever New® is a high efficiency wash. As a concentrated granular wash, use only half the amount of regular laundry detergents, as little as 1/8 cup. Please follow instructions on our label.

Stain Removal

Stain Remedy® can be directly applied to the stain. Stubborn stains will need pre-treatment and several applications, followed by a regular wash. Air dry garment and check the area. Do not use dryer as dry heat will set in a stain.

Delicate clothing

Use a toothbrush for delicate areas such as lace, chiffon, and mesh fabrics. Carefully brush the stain with Stain Remedy® diluted with water. To rinse, gently blot with a clean damp towel several times.
